Voicethread is a great resource for teachers to use in the classroom. It allows you to use both video and audio to create a presentation or project. You are also allowed to add a response to a voicethread. This opens the door for teachers in regards to student response. I can definitely see myself using this resource in my classroom, especially since it is free!

This first voicethread would be great to use in my classroom. The creator of this one utilizes the “doodling” tool in explaining what the water cycle is. It shows the students exactly what is happening. If I were to use this in my classroom I could have the students make their own response and use the same doodle tool to back up what they are drawing.

This next voicethread is a great example of the multiple ways this resource can be utilized. In this presentation it goes through many different ways you can solve an addition and subtraction problem. This helps reach out to students by giving them several ways to solve a problem.
